This foundational work included creating a visual language that communicated simplicity, intelligence, and warmth, while addressing users' needs for convenience and inspiration. With no prior design legacy, every screen, interaction, and flow had to be crafted thoughtfully to deliver value immediately.
ROLE: FOUNDING DESIGNER

To ensure design decisions were effective, We introduced structured user research combined with funnel analyses. This data-driven approach helped identify friction points and optimize user flows, from onboarding to recipe discovery.
Working closely with the CEO and the engineer, I played an active role in refining onboarding processes and core user journeys. Iterative design improvements addressed usability challenges and introduced delightful touches aligned with Cooklist’s mission to simplify meal planning.
Outcomes
The combined efforts resulted in a seamless, engaging app that empowers users to eat intelligently, save time, and reduce food waste. Cooklist’s integrated platform provides home cooks with inspiration, control, and convenience like never before—helping users succeed in the kitchen through a tailored, data-enhanced experience.
