The original homepage was underperforming. User interactions were scattered, key interface elements were hidden or unclear, and the site’s visual storytelling didn’t reflect the brand’s fun, fast, and resourceful personality.
The challenge was to redesign the homepage to improve user engagement and conversion by simplifying flows and elevating the brand’s character through a coherent, attractive UI that resonated with the Brazilian audience’s expectations.

Leveraging these insights, we crafted a fresh art direction that put personality front and center—fun, fast, and approachable. Bright, energetic colors coupled with lively photography brought Zé’s spirit to life.
The UI overhaul also focused on simplifying user flows: prominent input fields for delivery address, clear CTAs for joining the waitlist or selecting delivery options, and intuitive navigation. This mobile-always mindset was crucial given user habits.
To validate the redesign, we ran an A/B test pitting the new homepage against the current one. User sessions were recorded and analyzed daily, yielding real-world feedback on usability and appeal. Iterative tweaks—both large and small—were prioritized based on observations, ensuring continuous refinement.
Outcomes
Those results paved the way for Zé Delivery to become Brazil's leading beverage delivery platform, created by AmBev and operating since 2016.
